The Hub, MersthamImage of the exterior of a new brick building with large windows and turquoise eaves.

2A Portland Drive, Merstham RH1 3HX

This brand-spanking-new facility is run by Merstham Community Facility Trust and houses the new Merstham library and Merstham Mix Café. It’s bright and airy and we love it! The library has a fabulous children’s area . The Café is a wonderful community project which reduces food waste from supermarkets and provides great value, healthy meals (which are free for foodbank users). We won’t be providing tea and coffee at these drop-ins but we think you’ll much prefer their offerings!

Finding us: It’s an easy walk if you live in Merstham, and 10 minutes walk from Merstham station. The 430/435 bus route stops just outside. There is loads of on-street parking on Portland Drive and the surrounding roads, and some off-road spaces right outside the Hub itself.

The cafe is on Lee Street along with a couple of other shops and a small car park.

Approaching from the A217 Reigate road, turn into Lee Street at the Black Horse and continue along the road. You will pass the Leisure centre on your right and shortly after the Cafe will also be on your right with the car park in front.

From the Chequers roundabout,  head west down Horley Row, past the parade of shops and The Bull pub. Sheila’s Cafe is on your left shortly after the junction to Vicarage Lane/Meath Green Lane.

If the car park is full, there is parking available on the residential streets nearby or further towards Horley Row by the parade of shops.
